Questions people ask before their first request
How does Omega make money if it's free for me?
Businesses pay a small fee when Omega books a job with them. That fee is never added to your price — we negotiate the price first and disclose our fee to the business separately.
Who are the businesses?
Local, independently rated tradespeople we've verified for state licensing and insurance where relevant, plus recent reviews. We call several for each job so you're not relying on one.
Is a budget required?
No. If you give one, Omega uses it as a ceiling in negotiation. If you don't, we'll come back with the best market price we can get and tell you what a fair range looks like.
What if it's an emergency?
Pick "Emergency — today" and we prioritise businesses with same-day availability. For a gas smell, flooding or a break-in, call your emergency line first, then send the request.
Can I change the appointment?
Yes. Reply to the text or email with what you'd like different — a later slot, a firm price on parts — and Omega calls the business back.
